Jaden Hardy Chooses G League Ignite Over College

Five-Star Prospect to Join NBA Developmental League

Hardy Explains Decision, Player Profile

In a surprising move, five-star prospect Jaden Hardy has announced that he will be joining the NBA G League Ignite over playing college basketball. Hardy, who was considered one of the top five players in his high school class last year, had received offers to play for both UCLA and Kentucky.

In an interview with Andy Katz, Hardy explained his decision, saying that he wanted to "take the path less traveled" and that he believed the G League would provide him with the best opportunity to develop as a player. He also said that he was excited to be able to play against some of the best young talent in the world.

Hardy is a 6'4" shooting guard who is known for his athleticism and shooting ability. He is also a skilled ball-handler and passer, and he is expected to be a major contributor for the G League Ignite this season. The Ignite is a developmental team that is designed to help top prospects prepare for the NBA Draft.
