The new production of Beauty and the Beast is based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards. The show features new sets, costumes, and lighting, as well as some new songs and arrangements. The national tour will launch in Sacramento, California, on October 12, 2023, and will visit over 50 cities across North America.
